Early Education and Work History

Dr. Dennis Sandler was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan where he completed his major in Zoology, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Sandler began his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society and graduated at the top of his class. Dr. Sandler then completed his internship and residency in Reproductive Medicine at the University of California in San Diego. 

Following his residency, Dr. Sandler began working for the world renowned Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, California. Focusing on obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Sandler further developed his expert medical, surgical, and interpersonal patient skills. 

In California, Dr. Sandler and his wife Susan raised their three children: Tasha, Ben, and Jeremy. As his family grew, so did the demands of his medical practice. After a decade of performing complicated surgeries and hundreds of obstetric deliveries, Dr. Sandler took a break from his practice to enjoy quality time with his family. He eventually decided to pursue opportunities in the health, wellness, and nutritional supplement industries.

In 2012, the opportunity to work in a gynecology and wellness practice led to a move to Oklahoma City.  A few years later, Dr. Sandler established his own private practice, Shared Wellness MD. 

ABOUT SHARED WELLNESS MD

Dr. Sandler opened his practice, Shared Wellness MD, with his wife Susan  in July of 2016. He envisioned a practice that provides personal, individual care by taking the timeto listen to his patients’ needs. Dr. Sandler provides a caring environment where you will always see the doctor for your appointment.  He has developed  strong relationships with his patients and encourages them  to become active participants in their own medical care. Dr. Sandler provides comprehensive  hormone,  thyroid, and weight management services for adults in the Oklahoma City metro area. Dr. Sandler’s primary goal is to help each individual achieve the highest level of health and wellness possible. He also offers state of the art devices that provide  body sculpting,  muscle building, skin tightening, and fat reduction.
