Description
DHEA Plus uniquely combines dihydroxyepiandrosterone (DHEA), Bioperine® and ginkgo biloba leaf to safely and effectively provide antioxidants, and support the body in a healthy aging process. DHEA, the primary ingredient, is used by the body to manufacture the sex hormones estrogen and testosterone. As DHEA levels decline with age, women produce less estrogen, which is essential for healthy heart function. Additionally, men lose the metabolic boost that testosterone provides and are at increased risk for fat accumulation. Supplemental DHEA can therefore slow this normal hormonal decline. In fact, scientific research has indicated that adequate levels of DHEA in the body can actually slow the normal aging process. A second key ingredient is Bioperine®, which enhances thermogenic activity and can lead to increases in fat mobilization and utilization. To further ward off the forgetfulness associated with the aging process, DHEA Plus includes gingko biloba to augment blood flow throughout the circulatory system and to the brain. Some improvement in cognitive abilities has been noted as well as inhibition of lipid peroxidation, thereby stabilizing the cell wall against free-radical attack. This product is gluten free.
DHEA Plus may:
- Reduce the normal effects of aging
- Increase thermogenesis and reduce body fat
- Reduce free-radical formation (antioxidant)
- Increase blood flow to the brain and peripheral arteries
